The Series 700 is the ideal tuba for students and youth orchestras. Its compact construction centered on three valves not only reduces its weight but also improves its response. The rose brass leadpipe can be removed for thorough cleaning (and in the event of a dent).The JTU700 (Previous JCB-378L) features stainless steel pistons for easy action, plus a size which makes the sound easy to control for the beginning tuba player. It includes a detachable leadpipe, valve body and bell for easy repair. The tighter wrap and compact size still offers a wide dynamic range and rich tone.
