Yamaha YSL-825 Xeno Series Tenor Trombones with F Attachment
Xeno series B♭/F tube. The bell is a single piece of yellow brass with a diameter of 220 mm, the outer slide tube is gold brass, the inner slide tube is nickel silver, the bore size is thick tube 13.89 mm, and it is finished with clear lacquer.The concept is based on Yamaha’s signature bright sound, a sense of resistance that does not interfere with the ease of playing from bass to treble, musical expression required by orchestras, and ease of changing the tone color. The winding shape of the F-tube is unique and may seem to create some resistance at first glance, but the breath flows more smoothly than it appears. Considering the optimal resonance, we carefully considered the support and made it a little lighter in weight, and by making the outer tube support of the slide thinner, the slide is also lighter. The result was the result of many years of testing at orchestral performances, and repeatedly changing various parts to find out how it would sound in the venue and how I would hear it. Profile of Mr. Akira Kuwata Born in Hokkaido in 1970. While he was a student at Musashino College of Music, he joined the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. He graduated from Musashino College of Music. He won 2nd place in the 8th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition. He won 2nd place in the solo section of the 1st Osaka Trombone Competition. In 2001, a recital was held at the Mitaka City Arts and Culture Center. He has studied trombone with Haruo Yamashita, Mokinori Mayumi, and Satoshi Kamiya. He is a member of TROMBONE QUARTET ZIPANG. He is currently the principal trombonist of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra. He is a part-time lecturer at Musashino College of Music and Toho Gakuen University.
